As promised, The Squeeze Report is complete. Yes, I’ve finally gathered together all the squeeze page information, including everything from super ugly ‘in your face’ squeeze pages that work, to the 81.8% converting page.

It’s supposed to be like that when the text is on screen. I though it would be a bit confusing having us saying something and the text saying something else at the same time :-) don’t you think?
There’s no music in the parts where you’re meant to hear what we’re saying (or messing up in the case of the out-takes). So hope that clears it up :-)

The minisite (header, sidebar, footer) were done by a guy Paul knows called Pixelcrafter – not his real name ;-)
He also did a splash image for the videos. I put the site together and added additional graphics (like the dvd covers)
Think his info is just below the footer but if you want his contact info then Paul will have them so drop him a message.

I’ve had a similar experience, when one of our cats Mylo (daytime resident of my home office and all around cheeky little fella) decided the time to jump onto the keyboard was half way through posting a comment!!
Really pleased you’re getting good things from the Awebextra videos…the tracking code is something I’ve been using for a while now and it really helped me figure out what, where and who’s sending me converting traffic (and not just traffic, which is MEGA useful knowledge)…and Paul’s definitely delivered a few gems in there too!!
A load of people have been saying it’s a crazy price…the idea is simply we want to make it a really high converting offer and an easy sell for people who want to promote…
It’s our first paid product and we want people to know what we’re all about and what our products deliver.

Really pleased you found the video funny. Of course internet marketing is a serious business BUT I think there’s a tendency for people to take it all a little too seriously and forget that they can have fun with it too!
I’ll often see people getting too sucked into it, burning themselves out, putting themselves under loads of unnecessary pressure to get success really fast…(been there myself) but since I realised what was happening and made the effort to chill out & enjoy it more I’ve actually enjoyed greater success and had a lot more fun too!!!

Awebextra minisite graphics (header, footer) and the video splash graphic (title screen) were done by a guy that Paul knows. He goes by the name Pixelcrafter (just drop Paul a message for his contact details).
Did the design for my blog and products myself, I’m OK with photoshop but I’m no great graphic artist so will often purchase original artwork then, customise, combine, add titles render into book/dvd covers, banners etc. to get exactly what I want!
Like I say, I’m no great graphic artist but if there’s graphics you’d like doing or need help with then drop me a message and if I can help ya I will!

It’s timely for me – I have a 47% opt-in rate squeeze page, that i ran a Safelist offer to. Despite advertising in several locations, I was able to track the # of opt-ins from the Safelist ad by using one of your tips from the Aweber course!
But here’s something alarming – I got a 2% opt-in from the Safelist traffic! (The Safelist was ListJoe.com)
I’m going to use Google Optimizer to test different versions of the squeeze page, and try running the ad again.

I’m pleased you found the squeeze page report useful and the Aweber tracking tip from Awebextra, that’s one of my favs!!
A 2% opt in from cold safelist traffic isn’t that bad. You’ve gotta remember that most safelist traffic is just people clicking for credits, there’s no pre sell or qualifier involved so opt ins from a safelist source will always be low.
I’d definitely try running different pages specifically for safelist traffic. My testing has shown me that the more traditional squeeze pages just don’t work for safelist traffic…it really needs to be an ‘in your face’ design because your trying to grab the attention of people who mostly just don’t care!

Mainly I wanted to use a different kind of script that had a viral reward element for tell a friend. This has worked out OK and to be honest a little better than expected but I’m going to be changing the whole model I use soon – got some cool ideas and been planning and mapping it out…just got to find the time to get it all implemented…
It’s a really good system and I found it easy to use and did pretty much all of what I wanted without too much hassle (although I should note that when I asked for support it was often really slow and took a long time for them to answer my question specifically – but I wouldn’t let that put you off) As for the others I haven’t used them so can’t advise you!

i have not got a clue what all this aweber craze is about, just goes straight over my head. it sounds good by the looks of all the happy comments though my man, well done, i shall have a gander in a bit.
i’m sure it will all click into place for me when i’m ready, everybody seems to be way above my experience here. maybe i need to go down a road i am more familiar with.
you guys obviously know your stuff, keep it going bro, i think i need to hook up with a technical guy as i got plenty of ideas and i now know the game better.

I met your famous countryman internet marketer Lee McIntyre in Vancouver a little over a week ago. He was giving a speech at an event there. We also had a beer.
